This is a story of faith and trust and of being willing to receive and accept Guidance and Love. Rannulph Junuh is disillusioned with life and has deep feelings of unworthiness. The Spirit reaches him using a backdrop that is familiar and attractive to him. “You have lost your swing” is the metaphor for “you have forgotten who you are.” The Spirit uses golf as a backdrop for discovering his authentic swing, which involves getting out of the way and allowing it to find him.
The way back to remembering truly is through joining, deepening in trust, and listening to guidance while using learned skills and abilities. It is then possible to go beyond all of what is learned to an experience of harmony with all that is. The path of healing is one of coming into integrity. Facing demons from the past allows one to step up and play.

MWGE Excerpt: When we call out for help from God we must also believe that we will be answered. Lack of faith is an obstacle to learning true forgiveness. Angels are all around us if we have the eyes to see. They guide us to appreciate and extend love to everyone, that we may see them all as our Self. Angels are patient and persistent, for their mission is to remind us of the love and beauty which resides in our hearts. They help us see the valuelessness of worldly pursuits and outcomes in contrast to the value of Life in the Spirit. Their mission is complete when true love is clearly recognized.

The Spirit will often speak to us through our devoted brothers, and our willingness to listen and follow will help undo the ego most quickly and lovingly.
