You are entitled to miracles! David Hoffmeister has devoted his life to being habitually miracle-minded and shares in this video how our devotion to miracles can bring us to a state of mind that is consistently happy.
“We are always teaching what we would learn. We are always extending what is in our heart so we can strengthen it in our awareness. That is the function of a miracle-worker; to follow the Spirit and extend love and forgiveness, and strengthen that in our mind.”
MWGE Excerpt: This is a classic awakening movie highlighting the common obstacles faced on the awakening journey. As Mary begins to listen and honor the inner voice of guidance, she faces the seeming judgments, rejection, and disapproval of her family as she takes her first shaky steps on the uncompromising path to true freedom.
Fortunately, Mary has a deep devotion and readiness to hear the call. Shortly after her brother almost drowns her in an attempt to rid her of a perceived “devil” within, Mary hears the voice of Jesus. From this moment on, she never falters in taking her steps with Jesus as her guide. Though she seems to need this mighty companion beside her in physical form for a time, Mary witnesses Jesus’ resurrection after his crucifixion; symbolic of her own resurrected mind.

MWGE Excerpt: Homer is uninspired at the prospect of becoming a miner like most other men in the small town of Coalwood, W.V. His father, an experienced mining supervisor, is also seen as the town hero. He wants Homer to follow his footsteps down into the mines.
But when Homer witnesses the Russian Sputnik flashing across the October sky, a light goes on in his mind. The Sputnik becomes a symbol for him of the desire for something else besides a life of sacrifice, drudgery, and darkness down below the earth’s surface. He is instantly ignited with a deep sense of purpose to build rockets in order to escape Coalwood.
MWGE Movie Trailer “The Peaceful Warrior” Commentary by David Hoffmeister
When there is spiritual pride and arrogance in the mind, everything is a lesson in humbleness and surrender until living in the present moment replaces the old goals of striving, achieving, and building a self-concept.
As the pride is washed away and Dan surrenders, he finds a new purpose for his training which allows him to approach the present moment. Eventually, Dan sees that he needs to let go of the ego entirely in order to be happy. With this fundamental shift in perception, Dan is able to use his skill in gymnastics to train his mind to come into the present moment completely.
