David Hoffmeister: The movie Interstellar is a powerful quantum physics movie about answering the call to awaken. It takes you on a mind-bender through time and space, to see that ultimately it is all mind, that we’ve only ever been communicating with ourselves, and that Spirit will use everything that we seem to believe in to reach us.
Earth is rapidly becoming uninhabitable, the people doomed to starvation and sickness. The main character, Cooper, accepts a mission to find a new world. It is a leap of faith, a mission of the heart through the darkness of the mind.
Cooper and his fellow astronauts journey through black holes, where time bends. Minutes in space equate to years back on earth. Each must face their feelings of loss, doubt, and fear as they consider loved ones left behind who are rapidly aging. Each decision becomes a call to a higher purpose, beyond special relationships.
Jesus says in A Course in Miracles, “What you are will tell you of itself.” (T-31.V.8) There was never anything outside of us. It was all love, calling us home, step by step. Follow the calling of the heart all the way Home!
“What is being undone in the Great Awakening is the perception of linear time and the identification with a linear identity that is of the ego’s making. Guilt, although an illusion, seems real in awareness as long as you perceive yourself as part of linear time. The Holy Spirit stirs the sleeping mind so that it may first observe the cosmos and experience identity from the perspective of Wholeness in the Present, and then gently Awaken unto eternity. A happy dream of forgiveness precedes the gentle Awakening unto Pure Oneness.” (Excerpt from Awakening Through A Course in Miracles by David Hoffmeister.
“Those who remember always that they know nothing, and who have become willing to learn everything, will learn it. But whenever they trust themselves, they will not learn. They have destroyed their motivation for learning by thinking they already know. Think not you understand anything until you pass the test of perfect peace, for peace and understanding go together and never can be found alone.
Each brings the other with it, for it is the law of God they be not separate. They are cause and effect, each to the other, so where one is absent the other cannot be.”(T-14.XI.12)
